Everything You Need to Know
All amenities and accommodations are located within 5 minutes of walking distance across the entire retreat. See map above for details:
Check In: Check-in at 4pm however, feel free to come take advantage of our various amenities until your accommodations are ready any time after 9AM!
Day Passers are welcome to join us any time after 9:00 AM
Self-Check Out: We offer a standard self check-out time of 11am. We ask that all belongings are moved from your accommodation site at this time, a late check-out fee of $50 will apply given this time frame is not respected. This fee helps cover the costs associated with additional housekeeping and allows us to prepare the room for incoming guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a comfortable environment for everyone.
Day Passers are expected to vacate the property no later than 9:00 PM
You will receive a text message with check-in instructions and your accommodation number one day prior to arrival.
Yes — overnight guests are welcome to continue enjoying the amenities until 9:00 PM on the day of departure.
Yes — Lungovita is an adults-only retreat with a minimum age of 18+.
We are open year round and all amenities are available for use (Pool, Kayaks and Bikes weather permitting)
From May 1 to October 31, a 2-night minimum stay applies to Friday and Saturday bookings. Sunday nights on holiday weekends are also subject to a 2-night minimum. Thank you for your understanding

You are welcome to make a request by emailing lungovitabeachretreat@gmail.com or add to your booking notes, but specific accommodations or locations cannot be guaranteed.
Furry friends are allowed in our pet friendly 5M Geodesic Domes but asks that they do not disrupt the relaxing atmosphere we strive to maintain on the property. Guests must comply with our well-behaved pet policy, which includes remitting a one-time $50 pet fee at the time of booking.
Pets must have current rabies vaccinations and remain on leash at all times. In cases where a pet's behaviour, such as persistent loud barking or aggressive actions, disturbs other guests' experience, the responsible party will be asked to promptly vacate the premises. Additionally, the responsible guest will be liable for 100% of the stay fee. Pets are not permitted in the main building, amenities area, or the 8M domes in front of the office.
Meet our beloved full-time residents – the friendly cats of Lungovita. These curious felines roam the property, basking in the sun and napping in their favorite spots. They are also our unsung heroes, keeping the property free of rodents and pests.While they add charm to our retreat, please note that they do not need to be fed by guests. Our groundskeeper, Zack, ensures they are well-fed and cared for.
If you are bringing a pet some local vineyards will periodically shoot cannons to rid the nearby birds. This can occur periodically throughout your stay and can increase or decrease based on the time of year you are staying with us. If this is a concern for your pet please do not hesitate to give us a call and we can provide further insight regarding the frequency during your stay with us.
If you're visiting Lungovita in June, you might hear locals refer to June bugs—but they’re actually talking about Mayflies. These harmless insects hatch in large numbers for just a couple of weeks each year, especially near the lake.
They don’t bite, sting, or cause harm, but they can be a bit startling because of how many show up at once. It’s all part of the natural cycle in lakefront areas like ours and a sign of healthy water nearby.
How to prepare for June Bug (May Fly) season (Mid June-Mid July)
• Bring sunglasses—they sometimes fly close to your face.
• Keep lights low at night to avoid attracting them.
• A hoodie or light scarf can help if you're not a fan of bugs.
• Bug spray isn't necessary but can offer peace of mind.
We recommend you come prepared with the following items in order to have the most relaxing stay possible:
Beach & Shower Towels
All shower and bathroom toiletries
All food and drinks
BBQ utensils, cooler, cookware and all kitchen items - We have some utensils for cooking but do not provide any dinnerware or eating utensils
Shoes for in the shower as well as in the lake (water shoes are recommended)
Bathing suit
Any extra blankets as nights do get chilly

Bug Spray
Bike Helmets
Lighter - Matches are provided
Bottle Opener
Headphones for listening to any music as we do not allow music on the property
Lock for community lockers located inside of our main building
Yoga Mat - For Yoga on Saturday and Sunday mornings. *We do have mats, but they are first come first serve.
We have a water cooler that dispenses cold & boiling water located inside the main building for guest use. All sinks located on site also dispense potable water.
At this time we do not offer food on site but have gas BBQs available. We provide limited cooking utensils, but we recommend bringing your own.
Some items and services are not included, such as:
Food and beverages
Towels
Firewood (Sold for $10/Bundle)
Massages and wellness services
Cooking and dining supplies beyond limited shared utensils
Microwaves
Fridges
Bike Helmets
We encourage a disconnect and therefore do not offer wifi on the property at this time. Cell service is available but depending on your provider the signal can weaken closer to the water.
All on site amenities are accessible at a first come first serve basis from 9AM - 9PM whether you are coming for the day or staying over night. All amenities are accessible at no additional cost with the exception of Thai Massages.
Feel free to use our bikes and kayaks located in the bike barn, you are welcome to take them off site but we do not recommend taking them further than 5KMs off of the property.
Shared Bathrooms, Showers and Spa Soaking Tub are located in the main building. Additional washrooms and showers are located inside of the pool house
Our luxury bathrooms are open for use on the premises with multiple private showers/washrooms.
Our Geodesic Domes are fully equipped with heat, electricity & A/C.
We do offer Thai massages, lymphatic drainage, and aromatherapy massages for an additional cost, based on availability. At this time, we have one practitioner on-site, so sessions are offered one person at a time.
We recommend booking in advance to secure a preferred time during your stay.

Lungovita is open year-round and winter stays offer a truly magical, cozy experience! To make the most of your cold-weather getaway, we recommend packing the following below. Learn more about winter stays here.
Warm, layered clothing (including base layers, hats, mitts, and scarves)
Waterproof boots with good traction for icy or snowy paths
A cozy robe or warm outerwear for walking between your dome and the spa areas
Thermal swimwear or quick-dry towels for enjoying our outdoor hot tubs and pools
Reusable water bottle or thermos for warm drinks
Hand warmers or pocket warmers for extra comfort outdoors
A small flashlight or headlamp (sunsets earlier in winter)
A Kettle for warm drinks inside your dome.
Overnight Bookings
We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. Within 2-7 days of your check-in date we offer a 50% refund OR you can change the date of your reservation. Please note that if you choose to change the date of the reservation we will not be able to make any further changes such as cancelling/changing the second date chosen. If your reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of check in no refund is provided.
Important:
The cutoff is based on the check-in date, not the check-in time.
Add our optional Cancel Anytime Insurance for full flexibility—cancel anytime for a full refund, regardless of our standard policy (add up to 7 days before check-in, or within 24 hours if booking within 7 days). Without it, cancellations follow our standard policy: full refund 7+ days out, 50% or one-time change within 2–7 days, and no refund within 48 hours.
Day Passes
We allow cancellations & date switches for day passes up until 24 hours prior to your day pass check-in date.
To cancel a Wellness Add-On, guests must provide at least 24 hours notice.
No refunds will be provided for those who cancel less than 24 hours before booked appointment.
Guests who cancel within 48 hours notice or more are eligible for a full refund.
To reschedule a booking, guests must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made over the phone.

For retreats and special events we offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the retreat date. Within 30 - 14 days of the retreat date we offer a 50% refund. Within 14 days of the retreat start date cancellations are non- refundable.
Gift certificates must be applied at the time of booking prior to your arrival. To apply a gift certificate you will need to give us a call at 226-935-9767.
Yes, you now can apply your gift certificate towards any massages and to purchase firewood.

Lungovita would like to thank our valued guests for the continued support of our new business! As we grow and develop our property into representing our mission, vision, and values, we ask guests to please keep in mind that in order to achieve this, there will be continued construction onsite. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience, we are still fairly new and making constant improvements on the property.
*Our main pool will be closed April 20th-May 15th for repainting. (Weather permitting)
